Project Solution awards $2,500 for Nepal Sanitation
We are delighted to announce that The Project Solution recently awarded us a grant of $2,500 to provide sanitation facilities at schools in the Deurali VDC of Nepal’s Gorkha district.
The received funds have already allowed us to start work at the Shree Balkori school where we are now building new toilet cubicles and providing hand washing facilities for over 100 staff and students. Once this work is complete we will undertake similar work at a second school in Deurali.
We want to say a huge “thank you” to the Project Solution Community for allowing us to make an immediate, tangible impact in Nepal, as well as previously in Haiti.
In 2011 The Project Solution also helped us to provide drainage, as well as classroom & kitchen roofs, at the Foyer d’Orelph Orphanage and School in Port-au-Prince (known to our volunteers as Val’s).
